I’m available for both writing and editorial, promotional and branding consulting. (Email me.) I’m occasionally available for teaching/lectures/talks. Sometimes I do a combination of those things. I will do pretty much anything for enough money.

I typically cover “life” (which includes relationships, sex, friends, family, work) and “culture” (which includes music, film, fashion, books/magazines/online). I write about things I like/am curious about/have feelings for.

I consult for clients in the music, fashion and media industries about how to reach and communicate with discriminating (read: “cool”; “young”) audiences (read: “consumers”) but have also worked with mainstream clients who want some perspective on their approach to that kind of demographic.

I charge an hourly or per-word rate for freelance work (writing and consulting) that pretty much ranges between $75 per hour/$0.50 per word and $300 - $500 per hour/$3.00 per word depending on the assignment and client. Email me at katecarraway@gmail.com.
